HazardKey

Hazard Sky · HazardKey™

One keyed position.
Every accessory.

HazardKey isn't another bracket. It's a mounting standard: a four-lobed keyed position that repeats across every rail, plate and base we build. Learn one joint and every accessory in the line bolts wherever you want it, in four orientations, with one hex key.

How it works

Three moves, and it's mounted

A keyed position is a shallow lobed recess with a tapped hole through its centre. The accessory's key seats in the recess so it can't twist, and its own bolt threads into the host. That's the whole mechanism, and it's the same everywhere on the system.

1

Pick a position

your position

Every rail, plate and base carries the same keyed positions. Choose the one that puts your accessory where you want it.

2

Seat the key

integral keytapped hole

The key is machined into the mount. It drops into the lobed recess and the accessory can't rotate on you.

3

Run the bolt in

no nut behind

The cap screw threads straight into the rail. No nut, no backing plate, no reaching behind a panel.

Four lobes, four orientations

Aim it, don't shim it

Four lobes at 90° means four honest entry angles and nothing in between, so a mount can't creep to a partial angle on a washboard road.

  • Loosen the screw until the key clears the recess.
  • Lift, turn 90°, 180° or 270°, drop it back in.
  • Retighten. The screw stays captive the whole time, so nothing lands in the dirt.

Where it goes next

The line keeps growing

There are new rails and new accessories on the bench constantly — new places to put keyed positions on the vehicle, and new things to hang off them. Every one lands on the same keyed position, so whatever we release next bolts straight to the rail you already own. Nothing you buy today gets orphaned.
